Everyone should check this video out even if you aren’t a sports fan. It looks at the idea of fear at different angles. You get Stephen King’s perspective on what he thinks fear is, which is appropriate. Also current and former players many of whom are hall of famers discuss their experiences of what they think fear was on the football field and how they dealt with it.

Good post Ilya I’m a huge soprts fan and this was very itersting to look at. Even though I play soccer but when I look a the way American football is play and the way those guys go at it.I get afraid that someone is going to kill somebody. I mean every sports player might be afraid when they get are going aagaint their opponet because you dont know what is the mind sest of the other person so you have to be afraid.

I agree to some extent, however they make it sound like fear is an extremely bad thing. But isn’t that one of the things that makes us human? I guess they have to discard it on the side to have that competitive mind and win a game when they need to.
